Event Insurance

Your wedding, Bar Mitzvah, special birthday or anniversary party should be a joyous occasion.

We can arrange insurance against cancellation, abandonment, property damage and public liability, allowing you to enjoy the celebrations without a worry.

Cover includes:-

  • Cancellation – If your event is cancelled for reasons beyond your control, insurers will reimburse your irrecoverable expenses, up to the limit you choose. This includes cancellation due to non-appearance of key guests or participants, accident, death or serious illness. If the event needs to be rearranged insurers will also pay you up to 100% of your irrecoverable costs.
  • Property damage – Cover for loss of, or damage to, your property either at or travelling to and from your event, up to £40,000. You can also get cover for damage to the venue's buildings, fixtures, fittings and machinery, up to £20,000. There are no single article limits for any one item. You can also purchase additional cover for property damage to marquees.
  • Public and employers' liability – Cover if you face a claim for compensation payable to a third party, following actual or alleged accidental bodily injury or damage to their property, if the incident happens during your event. This also includes injuries from food poisoning caused by food or drink served as hospitality by you.

In addition to the standard covers above, insurance is also available for:-

  • Adverse weather cover for outdoor events in the open
  • Non-appearance of the Disc Jockey or live entertainers
  • Increased limits for cancellation, property and public liability (as with all insurance policies, some exclusions will apply)
